Passenger Assistant Training (PATs)
Our half and one-day PATS courses are for anyone who has care or supervision of passengers travelling by road in cars, taxis, minicabs or large buses.
The comprehensive training package, which aims to improve passenger safety, provides the skills and information to understand and meet passengers’ needs.
The PATs course includes the following:
- the role of the passenger assistant
- assisting passengers with disabilities
- supervising children and young people with special needs
- working with adults who require care and supervision
- legal, practical and safety issues
Students will study the modules relevant to the needs of their clients or organisation.
Up to 10 people can receive the PATs training at any one time.
