Minibus Driver Training (DATs)

Our one-day DATs course is suitable for anyone driving a minibus for work or as a volunteer.

Drivers who successfully complete the MiDAS assessment and training programme receive a nationally recognised certificate valid for four years, after which a refresher course can be taken.

The DATs course includes the following:

passenger safety
child passenger safety
defensive driving
manual handling awareness
health and safety awareness
accident and emergency procedures
personal safety for drivers

Up to four people can receive the DATs training at any one time.
